Winter 2025
Your E-Bike is fast.
E-bikes and e-scooters are transforming mobility in California, but most riders don't realize that their standard home or renters insurance may leave them exposed.
While California doesn't require e-bike insurance, many policies treat e-bikes as personal property, offer low limits, and may exclude liability coverage when you’re riding on public roads. Coverage definitions also vary widely among insurers—what one considers “off-road” another doesn’t.
A different kind of policy: insuring no one goes hungry!
We were thankful to volunteer our time and get our hands dirty this season. Our team helped clean and repackage yams for 500 neighbors in need.
Small actions can make a big impact. Feeding San Diego is doing incredible work, and we’re honored to support their mission.
Winter checkup: your home policy
Colder, wetter months are a good time to ensure your home insurance still reflects how you live today. Renovations, new furniture or electronics, or a recent increase in rebuilding costs can all mean your limits are out of date.
Take a few minutes this winter to review your coverage, deductibles, and liability limits. If you’ve made upgrades, added solar or battery backup, or purchased high-value items, let us know so we can help you keep your protection current.
What's ahead for 2026?
As we look ahead to 2026 and what we can do for our clients, we’re encouraged by emerging improvements in California property insurance. More carriers are carefully returning to the market, updating their wildfire underwriting, and exploring ways to write well-protected homes again.
Our focus next year will be on helping clients navigate these changes— identifying strong carrier options, adjusting coverage where needed, and staying proactive about risk mitigation at home and at work.
Happy Holidays!
Thank you for your continued trust in our team. We’re grateful to work with you and your families, and we’re here whenever you need us.
