Minnesota Personal Insurance
A standard homeowners policy is built for a house that looks like everyone else’s. High-net-worth personal insurance in Minnesota is built for the house you actually have: 3,000 square feet and up, a lake lot, a second property, and a winter that does not care what the declarations page says.
Falcon West has a Minneapolis office and a San Diego headquarters. We place PURE, Chubb Masterpiece, AIG Private Client, Cincinnati, and the rest of the private-client bench when those carriers are the right tool. We place something else when they are not.
A 3,000 square foot house on a frozen lake is not a starter policy
Square footage is not a vanity metric. It is rebuild cost, contents, and a liability limit that matches the life. These Minnesota communities are where 3,000 square foot homes are the norm, not the exception. That is the book we write.
Lake Minnetonka: Wayzata, Orono, Minnetonka, Deephaven, Excelsior, Shorewood.
Edina, including Country Club.
North Oaks, Medina, White Bear Lake, Stillwater.
We work the rest of the state too, including cabins and second homes that a first-house policy was never built to carry. The through-line is the same: a significant house, a real rebuild cost, and a program that still works in January.
Where we work
The map is centered on Lake Minnetonka, where the larger homes sit on the water. The practice is statewide.

The cabin is not a side note
A lot of Minnesota wealth sits in more than one building: the primary house, the lake place, sometimes a desert or California property on the same family. Those files only work when ownership, underlying limits, and the umbrella are reviewed as one program. Ice, freeze, watercraft, and a long winter are part of the submission, not a surprise at claim time.
If the California house and the Minnesota house are in the same family, they should not be in two unrelated stacks.
One program, not a stack of policies
Home, auto, umbrella, valuables, flood, watercraft, domestic staff, and personal cyber belong in one structure. A trust omitted from a declarations page, or an umbrella sitting on the wrong underlying limits, only shows up in a claim.
Start on our private client page for how the program is built. Personal cyber sits on its own page: personal cyber insurance.
If the policy still looks like a first house, it is time
If the coverage was written for a simpler property and the house is no longer simpler, review it.
Falcon West has provided coverage for families and businesses across the United States since 1981. We build programs that protect what you have already built.
This page is a general summary, not a guarantee of coverage. What applies to a claim depends on the circumstances and the terms of the policy as issued.
