Mike Tanghe

Mike joined Falcon West Insurance Brokers, Inc. in 2012 and became its sole owner in 2022. He graduated from the University of San Diego as an English major and earned a master’s degree in Business Administration from San Diego State University. Mike has more than 25 years’ experience in writing insurance programs for business and personal liabilities, property, and worker’s compensation. He works with clients across the country in seeking out the best balance of coverage, risk retention, and competitive pricing. His customers are both successful individuals and families as well as closely held and publicly traded entities that operate worldwide. Mike has successfully acquired multiple agencies in Las Vegas, Minneapolis, and San Diego.

Mike and his wife Katy have three children. He most enjoys spending time with his family; traveling with them to new destinations; coaching or volunteering in his kid’s interests and the community; searching for San Diego’s tastiest burrito; staying physically active; anything related to rugby; and reading up on current events.
