We welcomed our four newest Academy Falcon West Academy members this week, and we're excited to introduce them to the insurance industry! Over the next 12 weeks, we will focus on commercial insurance, with a special emphasis on the energy and marine industries.
Matthew Anticev
Matthew Anticev is a professional rugby flyhalf for the California Legion and a published author who operates at the intersection of elite performance and intellectual curiosity. Born and raised in Staten Island, Matthew’s journey is anchored in the resilience and work ethic of his hometown. Beyond his achievements on the pitch, he holds a Master’s degree in Creative Writing and authored 'Double Play', a collection of poetry exploring the duality of human nature and sport.
Matthew is now applying his disciplined, analytical approach to the insurance industry. He is motivated by the challenge of translating the high-pressure decision-making of a flyhalf into the strategic world of business. With a focus on effective communication and relationship-building, Matthew is eager to learn how results are earned through consistency and attention to detail. He views this transition as his next great challenge—an opportunity to "attack life off the pitch" with the same vigor he brings to the game.

Ethan McVeigh
Ethan McVeigh is a professional rugby scrumhalf whose career is defined by a refusal to accept limitations. Having overcome early skepticism from others, Ethan used that doubt as fuel to reach the highest levels of the sport, developing a rock-solid foundation of self-belief and accountability. His journey has taught him that success is never accidental, but rather the result of consistent preparation and the courage to own one's path.
As he looks toward the future, Ethan is focused on mastering the mechanics of long-term client relationships and the analytical side of the insurance industry. He is particularly interested in the "lifespan" of professional partnerships—how trust is fostered through specialized services and strategic communication. Ethan is eager to apply the morals and ethics forged in professional rugby to the corporate world, aiming to exceed expectations and add value through the same passion and energy he brings to the scrum.
Faith Morley
Faith Morley is a professional rugby player, youth mentor, and head coach at Columbia University, dedicated to the power of community and mentorship. Competing as a hooker, Faith has built her reputation on the pillars of discipline, resilience, and a "team-first" mentality. Her work off the pitch is defined by her role as a Youth Development Mentor, where she strives to create the same positive, life-changing environments for young athletes that the sport of rugby provided for her.
Faith is transitioning into the corporate arena with a specific focus on the human element of business. She is eager to master the sales and brokerage aspects of the insurance industry, viewing it as a natural extension of her "superpower": building meaningful, trust-based relationships. Faith is driven to translate her athletic grind into professional excellence, focusing on client acquisition and strategic networking. For Faith, success is about the intersection of high-energy performance and long-term professional growth.
