About Peter Brecht
Peter began his career in the insurance industry in 2019 after more than a decade working in his family-owned business. His background in client service and business operations gives him a strong foundation for helping families and companies find reliable, tailored insurance coverage. He still writes the Insurance Market Update for homeowners in California.
Based in San Diego, California, Peter provides personal and commercial insurance solutions to clients throughout the West, including California and Colorado. He started his career focusing on home, auto, and rental property insurance, later expanding to serve business owners who value personalized, responsive support for their insurance needs.
When he’s not assisting clients, Peter enjoys spending time with his wife (a retired professional surfer) and their two young children. He also loves reading, writing, and discovering independent coffee roasters or checking out cars along the Southern California coastline.
